Me too. Probably the best movie I have seen in the last 6 months. BTW anyone looking for something to read and interested in 21 should check out "Bringing Down the House". It's the book the movie was based on and excellent.

88 Minutes, which was 88 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
And I watched Baseketball and Happy Gilmore the past two nights since I usually watch a movie to get to sleep.

Here's a quick craptacular review for one of the best comedies in a long time. Is there no stopping Apatow? The man's saving comedy. Well, he didn't have a lot to do with this movie, it's all star Jason Segel's brilliant comedic writing/acting and the uber-strong supporting cast. There's not one unlikable character in the bunch, from Russell Brand as the assholish rockstar and new boyfriend of Sarah Marshall to Jonah Hill as the waiter obsessed with Brand's Aldous Snow character. The part that got the biggest laugh from me is when Brand's singing on stage and Hill adjusts his pants and says "It just went from six to midnight." I died. Other great characters are Paul Rudd as the surfing instructor who's not used enough ("Nice hair, I wonder if the carpet matches her pubes") and Jack McBrayer as the newlyhead who's deathly afraid of making love to his wife until Aldous Snow teaches him using giant chess pieces. Jason Segel is extremely likeable as the main character and I'm so glad he finally got his own feature, so many memorable quotes and surprisingly great performances from Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell. A very heartwarming ending, I think I like this more than Knocked Up. 8.5/10 "If God was a city planner, why would he put a playground next to a sewage plant?"

Rewatched Strangers with Candy last night.
Fucking hilarious film.
I'm working now on High Fidelity for the first time, and pretty much hating it. God I want to kick John Cusak's character in the mangina.

agreed Patriot. High Fidelity sucks. as does John Cusack. i hate every character in High Fidelity. if there were anyone that snobby in real life, i would have to punch them out.
also, good review Mal. i wasn't expecting much from that movie, but now i might give it a shot.
